In the newest goodwill move from the Playstation’s online service, starting from today and lasting the whole rest of March, for every $50 you spend through the playstation network you’ll get $10. That works in increments too! Spend $100 and you’ll get $20 back and so on.
It’s beginning to seem like from this, along with PS Plus being absolutely worth your investment ten times over, that Sony have begun to totally understand the proper way to offer digital content to customers (it’s just a shame about the hardware limitations that make downloads so laboured).
Immediately the question arises: what are you going to spend that $50 on? Buying the two obvious necessities on the service, Journey and Tokyo Jungle, will only set you back around $30.
That’s why you should, presuming it turns out to be worth the money when you’ve read a proper review and found out for yourself, take this chance to pick up a copy of Bioshock Infinite when it’s released on March 26th.
I’d also recommend The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct on March 19th if it weren’t nearly entirely guaranteed to totally not be worth your time at all in the slightest. Let’s not even entertain that thought for a second. Eugh. What are we? Animals?
Mind out though. If you’re thinking of picking up a PS4 any time soon, Sony have said that they won’t be carrying your digital purchases over. Anything you get on the PS3 is locked in there forever (or at least until they figure something out).
