Did you like Dishonored and think about playing more of it after you were done? That must have been terrible, wanting something you couldn’t have. The game didn’t explode or anything after you were done playing it, but you’d already finished it once! It’d be terrible to go back and play it again and try to approach it in the various routes that the developers put in so that players could find a level of replayability in their actions! Why would you do that? So you can act like a pauper who plays content more than once after they’ve paid for it?
Horrible thought.
Some DLC was leak-announced. It’s called “The Other Side of the Coin” and it’s an extra addition to the story through a few more missions. That’s basically the opposite of the previous game’s DLC which was some challenge maps instead. Those didn’t have any story in, they were just boring gameplay using your character’s boring incredible supernatural powers to traverse boring majestically designed levels put together by the art director of one of the most boring fantastic games of the decade that won every boring prestigious award going.
Now you can do some inspiring slogging through inspiring see-through plot points in the hope of seeing some of Dishonored’s inspring complete lack of understanding of how to handle morality in player choice.
You’ll pay money for it, but we don’t know how much it’ll cost or when it’ll come out. Let’s hope it does more of what made Dishonored good and sidelines all the stuff it could have tried harder on.
