Following the publisher partnership between Tencent and Bluehole studios in China, we’ve just received news that the massive battle royale title, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be receiving a mobile version for the Mainland China market.
According to a post by Tencent, development on the mobile version of PUBG is “ongoing smoothly”. What this means is, you can expect PUBG on Android and iOS devices soon enough.
Unfortunately, there is no news regarding a release outside of China, which is hardly surprising considering a40% of the PUBG playerbase resides in China.
For now however, if you are looking at trying to get the PUBG experience on a system other than PC, you’ll have to wait till the game releases on Xbox One, December 12th.
In other news, PUBG has sold a total of 22 million copies across the globe. This means that the title has been selling 1 million copies a week.
There is possibly no doubt that the massively popular third-person shooter, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is 2017’s biggest game, having launched in early access mid-year – this game has been hot topic across the globe warranting countless streams and youtube videos of the battle royale title.
