Capcom has confirmed that Vergil's Downfall, the first DLC for the DmC: Devil May Cry reboot now has a set price and release date, according to VG247.
The single-player story will be released on March 6, and will be priced at $8.99 on PSN, or 720 Microsoft Points. Those that pre-ordered DmC at Gamestop, however, can receive the game for free by redeeming the code that came with the game.
The story follows Dante's twin brother Vergil, and promises three to five hours of playable content. Players will get to play as Vergil in a campaign that also promises new weapons and combos related to the character.
Players also receive the samurai pack and character perk.
Vergil's Downfall is his story, following his journey to how he became one of the most iconic villains in video games, and how that ties in with the reboot.
Capcom also released the free Bloody Pack DLC today, which includes 101 new challenge rooms.
So for those that liked to complain about Dante's changes, now they have something new to pick apart. For those who actually enjoyed the changes, they now have more of an expanded universe. Plus, Capcom gets more of your money. That means everybody wins, right?
