Bethesda is celebrating increased interest in its upcoming MMO The Elder Scrolls Online. To thank fans for helping them hit the milestone of one million likes on Facebook, the team working on the game has released both a video of several of them saying thank you in a variety of ways and an image revealing concept art for heavy armour that will feature in the game.
First, the video. It's pretty much just a collection of brief clips of small groups and individual employees expressing their gratitude, but there are some funny moments that make it worth watching. Keep an eye out for: the lady covering the naked butt on her Roman torso statuette (are you paying attention, Deep Silver?), the guy with the Mass Effect hoody, the lady who has managed to colour-coordinate her hair and glasses and cardigan, the collection of swords in the background of the leaping high five, the “wizard”, the guy in the horse mask, and all the Nerf gunplay.
Of course, if you keep your eyes peeled you can also spot various items of interest on these people's computer monitors.
And if all you care about is the game itself, then lean into your monitor and soak up every pixel of the concept art that demonstrates what heavy armour will look like for High Elves, Nords, and Bretons (though only if you play a male character – here's hoping we get to see female armour soon).
What say you, naysayers? Does it look sufficiently Elder Scrolls?
