You Can Now Gift Xbox One Games

November 15, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Send a digital Xbox One game this Xmas!

Already planning Christmas gifts? Why not look into Xbox One’s recently released gifting program.

Previously this option was only exclusive to Xbox One Insiders, now in a new update, Microsoft has added the capability for everyone.

So, how do you gift an Xbox One game? Simply go to the Store on your Xbox One and find the game that you want to gift to somebody. On the store, you should see an additional option next to the usual purchase or install buttons, which says “Buy as Gift.” Once you select that, you will have two additional options to choose from. You can either send a game as a gift to a friend on your friend list directly or if someone isn’t on their console enough, send it to them via an email, in which the code will be delivered to that person and they can input the code manually.

Seems to be just the right time that Microsoft has implemented this feature, going into Black Friday and the Holiday Season. What are you interested in gifting? Let us know in the comments below.
