EA and DICE are putting together a new challenge for Battlefield 3 players this February to encourage players into Rush Mode over the coming weekend.
The task is simple: arm 1 million M-COM station in 48 hours. No, you won't have to do it alone. Every player who participates in Rush mode and arms or disarms an M-COM station will help to unlock the game's sixth challenge dog tag for everyone. You can see what that looks like below:
Should the goal be reached, the new "Bird of Prey" dogtag will be unlocked for players across all platforms, including the PS3, PC, and Xbox 360.
DICE states that it doesn't matter what map and server you're playing on, so long as it's in Rush mode.
If you're not familiar with Rush mode, it tasks two teams of players into the roles of attackers and defenders, who must arm M-COM stations, or disarm them, respectively. Arming an M-COM station and thereby blowing it up opens up new areas of the map for the attackers while pushing the defenders back. Attackers must work their way towards the end of the map, while defenders must kill the attackers and deplete their spawn tickets.
The entire event will run collectively on all platforms from Saturday through Sunday (February 16 to 17) give all players the opportunity to clear the goal.
