The previously announced DLC characters for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale will be free on the Playstation Network starting today, and will be free for two weeks, according to the official Playstation Blog.
Players have a two week window to download Kat from Gravity Rush or Emmett Graves from Starhawk. If they use this time period to get the characters, they have the characters for life. After the two weeks, players will have to pay $4.99 for each.
The characters seem to encompass many of the same moves from their respective video games, with Kat having close-range, combo-heavy, gravity attacks such as her black hole which draws enemies in. Emmett has the ability to pilot a deadly Hawk mech, and can pick up weapons dropped.
Each character comes with the full stock of features, including a full arcade mode, alternate costumes, and their own theme music.
It was also announced that there will be a new free map for online ranked matches. Called "Fearless," the map starts on a giant rock spire from Heavenly Sword, and then drops down onto a track from Wipeout. The downloadable map also promises multiple cameos. The map will also be available in other modes, but it will be priced at $1.99.
Although what are you doing reading this article? If you own the game, get on this deal while there is still a chance.
