All things Naruto have surprised the gaming space time and time again. While many licensed games fall flat on their faces, it goes without saying that these ninja-filled titles have held their own in even the AAA markets, especially in the form of Bandai’s Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm franchise.
Both entries to this series have scored exceedingly high on the veritable scoreboard that is comprised of various reviews from around the web, and the third iteration is due out in just under a month, on March 5. While many great things have already been said about the title, the excitement coming from the crowd in the videos we are bringing you today just add to the hype train.
First up on the block is a 20-minute gameplay video, which features multiple combatants. An assortment of different powers and skills are put on display, and it gives us an interesting, untailored look inside the game before its release. This is something we can all appreciate with today’s PR running at full steam, but given the series’ history, I don’t think there’s much reason to worry.
The second video is a bit shorter, and shows a character’s skillset – Yagura Mizukage. While I haven’t watched Naruto for a few years, I’m assuming that this is a newer character to the series and is someone worth looking forward to playing. This video only runs about two minutes long, and is fairly to the point. His secret ability is something to behold, so watch it to the end!
