As you probably expected, the next Battlefield title will release in 2019.
During Electronic Arts’ quarterly earnings call for investors and analysts, Chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen mentioned the epic first-person shooter series, confirming that the next Battlefield game will we part of the fiscal year of 2019 (from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019).
“Creating groundbreaking experiences for our players across more platforms and more geographies continues to be at our core. From visually-stunning, deeply immersive games like Star Wars Battlefront II and our next Battlefield.”
The news is fairly unsurprising, considering the EA’s historical releases of the Battlefield franchise there have either been a Battlefield or a Battlefront game releasing yearly. As of right now, we aren’t really certain what setting the next battlefield game will take place – my guess? World War 2.

‘The studio recently announced through the Battlefield 1 Blog that Nivelle Nights, a map only available to Premium Pass and They Shall Not Pass owners, will become available to all Battlefield 1 players some time in “early November.” Nivelle Nights is special because it is the only night map featured on the game.
