Skyrim PS3 DLC: Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire Priced and Dated

February 1, 2013 by Ian Miles Cheong

The release dates and prices for the DLC for Skyrim on the PS3 have been announced.

Bethesda has at long last provided a solid release date for the release of its DLC for Skyrim on the PlayStation 3, which includes Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and the newly released Dragonborn.

According to Bethesda's Pete Hines, all three DLC will be available in February in the United States, with Dragonborn confirmed for 12 Februaary, followed by Hearthfire on 19 February, and Dawnguard on 26 February. Hines was unable to provide a release date for Europe, but we expect them to come out around the same time given Bethesda's request to Sony to release them simultaneously.

In addition to the release dates, Bethesda has announced that the regular price for Dragonborn and Dawnguard will be $20, and Hearthfire—a much smaller DLC—will be priced at $5. For the first week of their release, each of the DLC will be priced at 50% off, so Dragonborn and Dawnguard will both cost $10 each, and $2.50 for Hearthfire.

The PC version of Dragonborn comes out on February 5. It's priced at $20 on Steam.

When someone complained that he had no interest in purchasing the DLC due to their late arrival on the PS3, Hines replied glibly: "If you don't want to buy or play DLC, nobody is gonna stop you."
