Have you been enjoying Temple Run 2? It's assumed that most people reading this has given the game a shot already. Because, as Destructoid reports, it has been downloaded 50 million times since its January 17th release on iOS, about two weeks ago.
Impressive? Very. As a result, it has been dubbed the "fastest growing mobile game" ever, according to Temple Run 2's creator, Imangi Studios. The previous record was held by Angry Birds Space, by Rovio, which took 35 days to reach the same number of downloads.
Though it's worth noting how that game cost a dollar, whereas Temple Run 2 is totally free. Provided one does not splurge for any in app purchases, of course.
The Android version came out recently, so this is just the beginning of the game's incredible success. Though whether it reaches (or surpasses) the number of total downloads of Temple Run 1, which 170 million, remains to be seen.
