PS3 owners of Skyrim can look forward to a same-day release of the DLCs, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn regardless of where they reside.
According to Bethesda's Pete Hines, the studio has requested that Sony release the DLCs and the PS3 1.8 update on the same day in both Europe and the US, so players in either region will not have to wait any longer for the DLCs and the update than they have to.
Answering an inquiry on Twitter on whether the content will be available in the US before the EU, Hines responded: "we have asked for same-day release."
The announcement comes after a long series of delays for the content, much of which has been available on both the PC and the Xbox 360, leaving players on the PS3 out in the cold until now. Hines announced yesterday that all the DLC has passed certification in the US.
In addition to the content releases on the PlayStation 3, the Dragonborn DLC will be out on Steam on February 5. Dragonborn has been available on the Xbox 360 for a few months now, and adds an all new region to Skyrim.
