Sony has done their best to make purchasing games, movies, and television shows via the PS3, PSP, and PSVita as quick and painless as possible. Yet, despite many recent changes, many are still not entirely happy with the overall experience.
So if you happen to be one of those individuals, then you should be happy to know that the entire PlayStation Store is accessible, as well as functional, via your PC.
The new online store mimics the look and feel of the recently re-launched PS3 storefront and is now life for the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
And it is indeed much faster and easier to navigate, via the keyboard and mouse, as opposed to the Dual Shock (even after the update not too long ago, which promised improvements in speed).
It works quite simple: if you purchase or rent anything via your PC, the next time you fire up your console or handheld, whatever items will be found in the My Downloads section.
The PlayStation Blog also states that new features are in the works, including automatic remote downloads.
