With the final weeks counting down on the Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics and Eidos are trotting out the multiplayer footage, thus far a little-discussed feature in the upcoming reboot. In the latest developer diary, talking with Zachary Levi, Karl Stewart and Noah Hughes talk about how Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light served to warm-up the Tomb Raider audience to the idea of multiplayer, allowing them to take risks in exploring new ideas without fully commiting to a triple A title. In the above video you can get a glimpse of what the gameplay will be like, incorporating the game's survival aspects, environmental traps, and unique and refined weapons to bring an all new experience to the series. It is also revealed that Zachary Levi, the host of the Final Hours Of Tomb Raider series, will be a playable multiplayer character.
Tomb Raider comes out on March 5, 2013, on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.
