The second "season" of the extremely popular The Walking Dead games is already well underway. The episodic-like release of the games has seemed to have proven popular–and so has it's story and penchant for vital decisions. These very same decisions that players have made in the previous game might come back to haunt them in the next season.
“Right now we are just starting to form the concept for season two,” Telltale CEO and co-founder Dan Connors says. “This all remains to be seen but we are definitely figuring out how to carry the saves over.”
If the saves are carried over, decisions like who you saved-if anyone-could have some sort of impact on future games. One of the most recent and largest instances of carrying over saves from decisions made is the Mass Effect series.
In BioWare's sci-fi RPG, sometimes you could find yourself regretting someone you failed to help in the first game all the way in the third game of the trilogy. There's no doubt that if Telltale manages to pull save carry-overs off, that the game will become even more addictive and immersive for fans.
