Recently Bungie announced that the PC version of Destiny 2 will have region restrictions in the multiplayer. The regions will be selected by Blizzard and will apply restrictions to friends and clans, this basically limits players to only playing with people in the same region as them. The company now, however, has stated while there will be region restrictions, if you wish to play with friends on different regions, you can move over to another region.
This, of course, made players anxious regarding their progressions and unlocks – but the company has put those worries to rest stating that you will be able to move your stats and items over to the new region
That being said, Bungie hasn’t stated if it will be easy to move across regions – you may have to pay a migration fee or be subject to one move within a timeframe, such is the case with many other modern MMOs.
In other Destiny 2 news, the company’s reasoning for dropping the framerate to 30 was to have more in-game content.
Destiny 2 is just a few weeks away, and the hype is at an all-time high for the game. However, some fans were upset when the studio announced the game will run at 30 frames-per-second on all platforms, even the pumped-up PS4 Pro and Xbox One X consoles.
Destiny 2 releases on September 6 for PS4 and Xbox One.
