It seems Nintendo definitely made a move in the right direction by releasing a sequel to Splatoon. According to the collection of data on sales by Game Data Library, The paint blasting installment Splatoon 2 has sold over one million copies in Japan alone, accounting for one in every three Switch games sold in the country.
What’s even more impressive is that in the first month of launch, Splatoon 2 sold the same amount of copies than the original did in its first 7 months.
