Irrational Games has just revealed the reverse cover art for BioShock Infinite. Six designs in total were proposed, and which was narrowed down via fan polling. In the end, design number four was the winner, grabbing a total of 38% of the votes.
While the idea for reversible/alternate box art is hardly new, in this case, it was promoted largely by the intense backlash to the official box art's unveiling a few weeks back. For those curious, the other choices can be seen here.
To be completely honest, the winning entry was more or less a no brainer. The real shocker is how one of the six options is the aforementioned designs that everyone hates, just cropped slightly and with the cosplayer turned official spokesperson playing the role of Elizabeth inserted in the background, somewhat lazily.
But for those who actually like that design, or the others, they will all be made available for fans to print eventually.
