It turns out the world hasn't ended, Christmas is just around the corner, and Sony is continuing with its “12 Deals of Christmas” to encourage people to remember their PlayStation consoles when they might otherwise be looking forward to unwrapping something new like a Wii U. Today's deal is decent in terms of price, though of course to make it worth it you have to actually want the game: Hitman Absolution for £19.99 or €29.99 (originally £49.99 or €59.99), with an extra 15% off for PlayStation Plus members bringing it down to £16.99 or €25.49.
Hitman Absolution has a high average score on Metacritic, but its journey to get to that point has been mired by controversy, whether it's the trailer that saw Agent 47 brutally take down some strippers dressed as nuns or the Facebook App that promoted the game by encouraging people to place virtual hits on their friends for things like “her ginger hair”, “her small tits”, and “her hairy legs”.
If, at the end of the day, you don't care as long as it's a good game, and you're confident you'll enjoy it, you can pick up Hitman Absolution at the cheap price above until 11:59pm on the 22nd of December. This is the penultimate deal in Sony's lineup, which means on the day before Christmas Eve we'll get to see the last. Any guesses as to what it'll be?
