Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (or Ratchet & Clank: QForce in the EU) is getting a patch this week that apparently addresses many of the players' requests and “fixes some of the balance issues both online and in the campaign”. The patch will also include additional levels for the weapons included in the game, which originally could only be upgraded once. Hopefully the fixes will be included in the Vita version of the game, which should be available in early 2013 and will be free to those who've bought a copy on PS3.
As well as that, Insomniac will be providing more content for the game in January, namely a free multiplayer map set in Metropolis. It'll be good to see a more familiar location after the rather mundane maps that are included in the game, but it would be nice for Insomniac to provide a couple of extra maps for the campaign, which is only a few hours long as it currently stands.
Then again, Ratchet & Clank no longer seems to be about the single player experience, with an increasing focus on multiplayer. Would you be happy if all future Ratchet & Clank games were these cheaper, bite-sized, multiplayer-focused titles? Or do you long for a return to form?
