Oddworld: Strangers's Wrath is a game originally developed way back in 2005 for the Xbox, and it's since found a new lease on life by making its way to the PlayStation Vita after its release on the PC and PS3.
It's out today on PSN Store for the PS Vita, and it comes with a heap of visual upgrades, including high definition character models and detail-enhancing effects like normal mapping and self-shadowing. It also comes with remastered dialogue and additional bonus content.
This third-person game sets players in the shoes of the Stranger, a bounty hunter armed with a crossbow that launches living creatures. He hunts outlaws in the game's Wild West-inspired setting of Western Mudos.
The PS Vita version of the game packs PSN trophies and three modes of difficulty. The game's also out on the PS3 and PC where it offers 720p graphics at 60 frames per second. Further details about the title can be found on its official site.
If you were looking for a reason to pick up the PS Vita, this is a good one.
