The god game by Peter Molyneux and his new development studio 22Cans is half way to being fully funded on Kickstarter. Hitting this milestone prompted the developers to announce that the game, currently called Project GODUS, will be officially supporting the Mac. The game is also planned for release on Windows, iOS and Android.
With only 10 days to go, developers Peter Molyneux and Jack Attridge take a look at the game’s planning board to bring backers up to speed with what’s been happening with the game in a new video update.
They have announced plans to release a new video pitch before the end of the week to push figures towards the game’s £450,000 funding goal.
The studio also took to announcing a new donation tier at £199 which affords you three special editions of the game and an exclusive “Godus Wishing Well”, which functions much like the Temple did in Dungeon Keeper. Sacrificing your items to it is said to earn you bonuses—which is not unlike emptying your wallet into a Kickstarter fund without any guarantees that the project you’re backing is going to be any good.
