Now that yesterday's (pretty generous) deal for PlayStation's “12 Deals of Christmas” has expired, PS Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe has taken to the EU PlayStation blog to bring news of the latest. Unfortunately, it's another that probably isn't worth your time: Medal of Honor: Warfighter for £29.99/€39.99 down from £59.99/€69.99, with an extra 10% off for PS Plus members making it £26.99/€35.99.
In fact, that's exactly the same price as the second of these deals, which brought Battlefield 3 down from £60 to £30 too. It might sound like an impressive saving to anyone who doesn't know about these things, since Sony can technically claim that it's a 50% cut, but then the original price was just plain ridiculous. Both Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor: Warfighter can be picked up pretty cheaply in stores these days, especially given the poor reviews for the latter, so I doubt many will be tempted by this “offer”.
I might be wrong though. Is there anyone out there who's thrilled at the prospect of paying £30/€40 for a digital copy of Medal of Honor: Warfighter from the PlayStation Store? Well, hurry; the deal expires at 11:59 tomorrow night.
