Developer Devespresso Games recently took the opportunity to announce that manwha-inspired Korean horror title The Coma: Recut will be launching very soon. If the title sounds familiar, that’s because The Coma: Recut is actually a remastered version of The Coma: Cutting Class, the indie cult-classic about a Korean high-school student trapped in a nightmarish otherworld. Like the original, players control Youngho, running and hiding through the school’s dark corridors and evading a psychotic killer in the process.
The Coma‘s harsh world acts as a brief glimpse into the lives of Korea’s overworked high school students, particularly, the intense pressure they face surrounding exams. In the remastered version, a bunch of changes including new hiding mechanics, character animations, cutscenes as well as a rebalanced stamina gauge will be introduced to streamline gameplay.
The Coma: Recut will launch sometime in August for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. You can wishlist it on Steam right here.
