Hazard-filled parkour platformer Cloudbuilt made waves when it released in 2014, and now, it’s coming back with diversified mechanics in a remastered version. Appropriately titled Super Cloudbuilt, independent developer Coilworks is promising a “more connected and varied world”, enhanced graphics and better UI. Of course, gameplay will still offer the same precision, open-world environments and speedrunning goodness fans of the original were treated to.
Super Cloudbuilt stars Demi, a young soldier who awakens in a strange new world full of hostile robots and floating ruins. Armed with a rocked-powered exosuit, she needs to soar through expansive floating islands and avoid the abyss below. Super Cloudbuilt will combine all previous DLC levels within the main game, so you get the full experience in one tidy package. There are three game modes to entertain different playstyles: Story, ranked and rush. Within them are 177 challenges to power through, including Time Trial and No Ammo.
Interested players who pre-order Super Cloudbuilt for PS4 today (Europe only) will also receive a demo with three practice levels. Super Cloudbuilt is set to release on July 25 for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4 in both Europe and the U.S. An Xbox One version will follow on July 28.
