Been wondering which console exclusive racing game is better? Recently announced Forza 7, or Driveclub? Youtuber Cycu1, famous for his comparison videos, has released a video, showcasing the 4k graphical differences between the two titles on different consoles. Forza 7 running on Xbox One X, while Drive Club runs on the PS4 Pro with boost mode enabled.
At face value, one would easily say that Driveclubs rain effects are far more realistic than Forza 7, while this may be the case, Forza 7 is running at a far smoother 60fps. I guess it’s up to your personal preference on what you prefer – personally, I would much rather play a game with higher FPS than a game with better effects.
Besides the graphical fact, I think this comparison showcases just how powerful optimisation can be. The graphics vs framerate trade-off kind of equalises two consoles, regardless of Xbox One X’s extra power.
