A shipment of Assassin's Creed 3 on PC has been stolen in the Benelux.
According to a rapport from Entertainment Business NL (translated by Kotaku) the shipment was stolen on November 14 which means that stores in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands won't have the Join or Die edition in stock.
Ubisoft has managed to get regular versions of the game ready for launch in the countries, but since the Join or Die edition is a limited edition, it doesn't bode well for the fans who've pre-ordered it.
The barcodes and serial numbers from the stolen shipment have been blocked by Ubisoft's authentication servers, so if you get a hold of one of the stolen games, you won't be able to use it. Put another way: buy your copy of the game from a decent retailer.
Assassin's Creed 3 launches on PC in Europe today.
