Telltale Games, developer of adventure games such as Sam & Max, Back to the Future: The Game and The Walking Dead game, is expanding to newer and bigger digs.
The studio has signed a five-year-plus lease for a 22,000 sq. ft. office space in San Rafael, CA. This new venue, which was formerly occupied by Autodesk, is double the size of the developer's current workplace.
According to Telltale CEO Dan Connors, they're currently "maxed out where we're at," and adds that the Civic Center will give them room they need to grow their team and take on more projects on a yearly basis.
Currently, Telltale employs about 125 people and the new office space will allow them to increase in size to roughly 160 employees. The studio plans to start hiring next year.
Of course, this success wouldn't have been possibe without the developer's The Walking Dead game, which has seen critical and commercial success with every episode released so far. Speaking of epsodes, the game's "Season One" finale — Episode Five: No Time Left — is now out on PSN, Xbox LIVE and the PC.
Congrats, Telltale! Now get Season Two of The Walking Dead as soon as possible, alright?
