In the lead up to E3 2017, we’ve been learning more and more about Assassin’s Creed: Origins, through gorgeous image leaks, and now, a t-shirt. Yes, it’s true. A photograph of the t-shirt was originally posted onto fan Facebook page Le Verità dell’Animus Facebook page, but the link is no longer working. Fortunately, members of the Assassin’s Creed Reddit swooped onto that image faster than Edward Kenway dives into haystacks.
On the t-shirt, the name “Ba Yek” is spelled out with what appear to be hieroglyphics above it. A single figure, very likely the game’s protagonist, is equipped with a bow and arrow gazes downward in quiet contemplation. This seems consistent with previous leaks which said Origins would be set in Egypt, and focus on ancient Egyptian dynasties. In addition to the Ba Yek reveal, sources close to Ubisoft shared some promotional images with Comic Book, including the Assassin’s Creed: Origins logo.
