Capcom's Unity blog has released a new gameplay clip of DmC and this one shows off the "Honest Truths" stage. According to Capcom's "GregaMan," players will be visiting this area quite early on in the game and it will be a bit more "exploratory" compared to some of the action-focused stages they've shown off so far.
Be forewarned though, as is the case with most of Capcom's gameplay looks, this one does contain mild spoilers. So proceed at your own discretion.
Also of note, the blog also mentions some of the combat moves players can pull off even this early on in DmC. There's "a snazzy helm breaker cancel-fest around 1:35, a very well-placed evade cancel at 1:44, and some mid-combo weapon switching at about 1:49. The player also uses a stationary air evade to extend his air time for a beat at about 2:06."
For your first taste of Ninja Theory's upcoming Devil May Cry reboot, be sure to check back on PSN and on Xbox LIVE on November 21, as that's the drop date for DmC's demo.
Are you liking what you've seen so far with DmC's new look and all-new Dante or should Capcom stick Devil May Cry back to its Eastern-developed roots?
DmC will hit store shelves on January 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
