Remember when we reported on how Activision Brand Development Jay Puryear said that there would be "lots of suprises" in store for Black Ops 2's zombie mode? Well, it seems one of those surprises has been revealed ahead of time.
This unofficial reveal, of course, comes from the fact that the game is now out on torrent sites and from retailers breaking the street date. Mind you, I'm not really complaining against the latter as without it, we wouldn't know that Black Ops 2's zombie mode will have an "electric boss." Yep, you read that right…it's a zombie made out of electricity!
Courtesy of user chromastone10 on Reddit, he has managed to dig up a rather blurry screenshot of this electric boss. Now, if you don't want any part of zombie mode spoiled for you, I suggest not scrolling down to see the image. While the headline might have revealed the fact that there is a boss of this nature, you can opt not to look at the image and discover what he looks like for yourself. Although, if you're reading this, chances are you've already looked at it.
According to the user who posted the image, this boss "randomly appeared and it shoots electric bolts at you, it turns in to an electric ball, floats/moves around to get closer to you, then turns into a human shape and shoots you with electricity."
Also of note, you might be wondering how the player wound up with that amount of negative points, according to chromastone10, "The guy live streaming modded it because he did bad playing legit."
Aside from that though, there's not much else to be gathere as the screenshot really is blurry. So, now we know that aside from having zombies on fire in Black Ops 2, there's even some that will be made or imbued with electricity, too. What's next. a liquid zombie or one made out of slime?
Are you liking the direction Treyarch is taking with Black Ops 2's zombie mode or should they stick to the basics? Sound off and let us know.
Black Ops 2 is scheduled for a November 13 release for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, while the Wii U version will hit on November 18.
