Rockstar has announced that today is the release of Rockstar Games Collection 1. If you're not familiar with it, the collection contains Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, L.A. Noire and Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition all in one bundle both for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
According to Rockstar, "Each game in this collection represents a unique world in the Rockstar Universe. Red Dead, winner of over 170 Game of the Year awards, brings the Old West to life with a powerful story across a vast and colorful open world, along with intense multiplayer action. Episodes from Liberty City is the explosive conclusion to Grand Theft Auto IV, featuring The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony on one disc. With the help of MotionScan’s breakthrough technology, L.A. Noire's cinematic realism and hard-boiled detective story make for an unprecedented interactive experience. Rounding out the collection is Midnight Club: Los Angeles, which features customizable real world cars, endless open world street racing, and supreme multiplayer action."
Here's the collection's official box-art.
The Rockstar Games Collection 1 will cost $59.99 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Not a bad deal, no? Although it can be argued that you can get most — if not all — of these games piecemeal at a lesser price.
So, if you've yet to play two or more of the games in the collection, best to give the collection a go…assuming you have an aversion to getting these second-hand or something.
