While EU PlayStation Plus members might be getting the better deal so far this year, its U.S. counterpart is slowly catching up. Sony has just announced that Capcom's best Resident Evil game this generation, Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, will be free for PS+ members "soon."
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition not only includes the original Resident Evil 5, but it also includes two extra episodes, extra costumes, extra content and more. So, if you want a game to wipe the sour taste left by Resident Evil 6, this might be it.
Also of note, Morgan Haro, PlayStation Digital Platform community manager also teased a new game coming to the premium service next week. Haro wrote, "Check back next week where we’ll have a puzzling new addition to the Plus family."
Could that hint be for Puzzle Fighter? Tetris? Maybe Catherine? Your guess is as good as mine at this point.
