Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes, a.k.a. Team Meat of Super Meat Boy fame, have posted two teaser images on their website for their upcoming game Mew-Genics. The team promises that images like these will be released weekly to build up a picture of what Mew-Genics is actually about. Here's what McMillen said in the blog post accompanying the images:
So every Caturday from now till we release all the details, Tommy and i will be uploading screen shots of characters and cryptic images that should slowly paint a picture of what Mew-Genics is all about.

The two characters – Mr. Tinkles and Dr. Beanies – are the owners of the first two silhouettes in the teaser image posted along with the blog post announcing the game, so we can assume that the other three silhouettes will be revealed soon. While Dr. Beanies is accompanied by a cat, which continues the theme of “a game about cats… kinda”, the images don't seem to reveal much about the game or the characters, though one commenter has presumably used the “party gurl” banner behind Mr. Tinkles to deduce:
there is a gay-looking guy in it. YAY
