The people behind Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD took to the game's Facebook page on Friday to warily announce another delay in the upcoming downloadable content. Along with a screenshot of a man with a grey beard doing some kind of meditation pose on a skateboard balanced on the edge of a half-pipe, the team wrote:
Take a deep breath…let's get into zen mode.
OK, ready? We received word that the DLC has been delayed until the first week of December. It will definitely be coming to all 3 platforms then.
Again, it's later than all of us hoped, and we're sorry about that. Please be civil in the comments.
Despite the suggestion that the delay is out of the team's hands, and the plea for civility, commenters have wasted no time in demanding the content be free, asking for extra content to make up for the wait, and putting the blame on the “lying” developers.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD was released on Xbox 360 in July, PS3 in August, and Windows in September of this year. The DLC, which has already been delayed a couple of times, includes three new levels and the ability to perform a revert – a trick in which the skater turns the board 180 degrees while keeping it on the ground – in only those extra levels.
