Following our very brief look at Black Ops 2's re-imagining of Nuketown into Nuketown 2025, Treyarch has now announced via its Facebook page that they are holding a "grand tour" of the map tomorrow.
Here's their complete message for those who don't have a Facebook account.
It's the perfect playground for Double XP Launch Weekend. Pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 now and come back tomorrow for the grand tour of Nuketown 2025:
So, what could this "grand tour" be? Hopefully, it's not just an overview of the entire map, but something more in-depth. Perhaps a thorough look at each house and its rooms? Little adjustments they made to the original Nuketown? I'm hoping it's a mixture of the two in some way.
If you want to be able to play Nuketown 2025, you'd better pony up the cash now for Black Ops 2, as Treyarch has stated that there are no plans to release the map outside of the pre-order promo. Although I'm sure if you're a Call of Duty fan, chances are you've already pre-ordered it the moment it was announced. If so, not only will you get Nuketown 2025, but you'll even get access to Black Ops 2's Double XP Launch Weekend.
Do you think Nuketown 2025 will be as popular as the original Nuketown or will Black Ops 2 players tire of the same funneling the map did — assuming they're relatively the same?
Black Ops 2 is slated to hit on November 13 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, while it will be out on November 18 for the Wii U.
