The Vita version of turn-based RPG/high-school sim Persona 4 has been officially announced a tentative release date for Europe. Publisher NIS America has stated that the game will be coming in early spring but they have also stated that the release date is looking like February 22nd–which is still winter. It's curious that the time lags so far behind North America's release this coming November 20th. But it is not region locked, so you can import the game if you don't want to wait for an iffy date.
The Vita release is more than just a port, with the ability to explore the town at night that adds many more character interactions and scenarios. You can also take on a part-time job, catch new kinds of fish, and who knows what else. It will also have a Very Easy (like if you just want to replay for the story or sim elements) and Very Hard difficulty modes and the ability to speed through dialog and cutscenes. The original Persona 4 (a part of the Shin Megami Tensei series) received critical acclaim, achieving a Metacritic score of 90/100. The Persona 4 Golden version is also highly anticipated a welcome addition to the Vita's library.
