IO Interactive has released a cinematic trailer for Hitman: Absolution; and while it doesn't show an ounce of gameplay, it doesn't really need to, as the cinematic tells us what we need to know: Agent 47 is a badass.
Even if there's no gameplay footage, IO Interactive spices the trailer up by featuring a remix of the track "Roadgame" from international artist Kavinsky. This track will be available in his upcoming album due for release later this year.
Whether he's using his trademark silverballers, a shotgun or sniper rifle, Agent 47 can get the job done. Based on what we've seen so far, Absolution could be the series' finest outing yet.
So, which assassin will you be siding with later this year? There's Connor from Assassin's Creed 3 and then there's Agent 47. Yeah, they're in two different timelines and their core gameplay are different, but seeing as Square Enix is using that "original assassin" tag in their marketing, you know they're targeting Ubisoft's building-jumping hero.
Hitman: Absolution will be out on November 20 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
