Homo Erectus, Businessman, and Saber-toothed Tiger Released for Tokyo Jungle

October 23, 2012 by Nick Lalone

Humans can’t eat humans…it’s sort of sad?

oday's PSN update has brought 3 interesting DLC characters to Tokyo Jungle:

  • The Salaryman (localized to "The Businessman")
  • The Saber-toothed Tiger
  • ERC-X.

If you haven't completed the story missions of Tokyo Jungle or lived for over 100 years in the game, you may have missed the invasion of Homo Erectus as the people from the future send things from the past so that they can escape what they have done to the earth.

Tokyo Jungle is a roguelike game that surprised PS3 owners a month or two ago. In it, you play an animal (or in this case, ancient or modern cavemen) during their first day in a world without humans, without society. The game requires players to survive by killing and eating other animals who are all vying for supremacy in the new environment.

The game, originally available as a full retail game in Japan, was released in late September for PSN for $14.99.
