Bungie Releases New Destiny 2 Story Trailer; Officially Announces PC Version

March 30, 2017 by Jordan Biazzo

PC players can join in on the Destiny fun as well!

Bungie has released a new story trailer for their highly anticipated shooter, Destiny 2. The trailer takes a deeper look into the fall of the last city on earth.

New enemies have emerged and it is now time for new legends to rise up. As you can see from the trailer, the two segments are very different in tone – one has a serious monologue while the other has goofy, funny monologue. Activision has stated before that not only will Destiny 2 be bigger than the original, but it will also focus more on the story side of things.

Check out Rallying the Troops down below:

Humanity’s last safe city has fallen to an overwhelming invasion force, led by Ghaul, the imposing commander of the brutal Red Legion. He has stripped the city’s Guardians of their power, and forced the survivors to flee.

You will venture to mysterious, unexplored worlds of our solar system to discover an arsenal of weapons and devastating new combat abilities. To defeat the Red Legion and confront Ghaul, you must reunite humanity’s scattered heroes, stand together, and fight back to reclaim our home.

In addition, Bungie has finally announced that Destiny 2 will be coming to PC. There has been a lot of rumors and speculations the last couple of months, but it is now confirmed that PC players can join in on the Destiny fun as well!

Bungie is slating to release Destiny 2 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms on September 8, 2017. Users can now pre-order the title and receive beta access when the time comes.

Official gameplay for Destiny 2 is set to release May 18. Stay tuned to Gameranx for more updates on the highly anticipated title.
