Cyanide Studio’s follow up entry to 2014’s Styx: Master of Shadows released just two weeks ago, and was greeted with very positive reviews on Steam. Today, everybody’s favourite little depraved goblin is having his razor sharp wit recognised in an official Styx: Shards of Darkness accolades trailer. Earning titles of ‘jerkbag’, ‘disagreeable little green shit’ and awful joke teller, Styx’s colourful, crass personality is on full display alongside many of the gameplay enhancements Shards of Darkness introduced, such as riding zip-lines, manoeuvring around corners, and rope-swinging.
The story of Styx: Shards of Darkness takes place in a dark-fantasy world, taking players on a journey from Thoben the City of Thieves to Korangar, the dark Elven City. Your job as the centuries old goblin is to perform the heist of a lifetime using unlockable skills and the environment to your advantage.
Styx: Shards of Darkness is out now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Still on the fence about whether hard core sneak-em-ups are your thing? Check out our before you buy video right here on Gameranx.
