Capcom has just announced that the first-ever online event for Resident Evil 6's social platform ResidentEvil.net is officially underway. All you need to do in order to participate is just link your account and start shooting some zombies to gain RE points.
According to Capcom, "the top player with the most kills gets 50,000 RE points, nearly all you need to unlock one of the bonus Mercenaries costumes, or a whole lotta other goodies tucked into RE.net."
If the site somehow doesn't work for you, don't fret, as Capcom has also stated that they're "ironing out" the various technical issues on the site. So just sit tight, and wait for everything to catch up to speed.
While Resident Evil 6 has received mixed reviews much to Capcom's dismay, the game is still selling boatloads. So chances are you won't have any problems looking for people to play the game with. With that said, how's Resident Evil 6's online? Is it better than you expected or were the "bad" reviews correct?
