Want to try Devil May Cry's new-look Dante? You're in luck — if you play on consoles, that is — as Capcom is planning an online demo for DmC prior to the game's launch. While no firm release date has been set just yet, the title's producer, Alex Jones, states that there is "no word" on a PC demo.
In addition to that, Jones was asked if Vergil would be a playable character in DmC and he states Dante's brother as a playable character "will not be on disc," and that Capcom has no plans either way.
So, there you have it. Vergil is no-show for now, and if you want to play the game's upcoming demo, best to have a console nearby. If Capcom doesn't release a PC demo at all, will that affect your decision on buying the game?
DmC is scheduled for a January, 2013 release for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. You can watch the game's newest trailer here.
