Red Dead Redemption became a critical acclaim hit when it first launched. Gamers thoroughly enjoyed the western theme with Grand Theft Auto style controls and gameplay. The video game launched back in 2010 and it’s still highly praised and talked about nearly a decade later.

With Red Dead Redemption 2 announced and more information regarding the video game title likely to be unveiled during E3 of this year, we decided to take a look back at the famed video game. Here are our thoughts on why Red Dead Redemption was so great.
