The Energy Plant
Batman is here to save the day! Time to take down the Joker’s evil scheme. To get started, take down Two-Face’s henchmen — the last two are in on the suspended platform. Target them by holding down [Square / X] — when Scarecrow’s helicopter shows up, target the back rotor with another batarang to bring the bad guy down.
Use the Batman icon to begin construction of your vehicle! You’ll need it for the next part.
Hop into the Batwing and fly close to the hanging platfor. When the blue grapple points are targeted, tape [Circle / B] to use the Batwing Tow Bar. Hit Two-Face with three batarangs to defeat this villain, and start the second battle against Poison Ivy!
Destroy the overturned green vehicle to the left of the ruins, and punch the Blank Keystone Chooser. When the spotlight appears, aim for the debris with three colors — blue, yellow, and magenta. That’ll give you the Phase Keystone power! You’ll need to hit Poison Ivy with three objects in the area. Let’s go!
- Place a character on the blue toypad panel to summon a pterodactyl. Use Batman (or Batgirl’s!) grapple to pull down the explosive above the nest.
- Place a character on the yellow toypad panel, then target the windmill with a Batarang to fire the cannon!
- Place a character on the magenta toypad panel, then knock down all the flying penguins to load the catapult. Jump on the launcher to chase Poison Ivy away.
In the second section of the planet, you’ll need to solve three puzzles to continue the chase against Joker.
- Step #1: Clean the Clayface Gunk
- Use the grappling hook on the door to the right of the power cell and pull the switch. It doesn’t work because the water tank is empty — a green spot will flash on the toypad.
- Place your hero on it to enter Detective Mode. Follow the square marker and then track the floating gas fumes to discover a Batarang Switch. Activate it to refill the water tank!
- Now you can return to the switch in the control room on the right. Hit the switch and you’ll clean all the gunk!
- Step #2: Power Up The Controls
- In the center of the room, use the magnifying glass icon with Batgirl to enter Detective Mode! Follow the footsteps and press the button, then use the Batwing on the blue metal tow hooks to pull the power cell down.
- Next, hop into the crane controls on the left top grab the power cell, then move it all the way to the right. The power cell is now on the push-pad. Push it into the power cell slot to power up the controls!
- Step #3: Deal With The Virus
- Use the new Detective Mode icon in the center of the room.
- Copy the switch pattern — middle, left, right.
Now you can ride the elevator up to confront Clayface! To hurt Clayface, wait for the hopping bricks to appear on the left (after his big clay stream attack) and construct them to douse Clayface with a face-full of water. Do the same on the right, and then use the Master Build (purple icon) to construct something big enough to take down Clayface.
- To complete a Master Build, use Batman and place him on the flashing toypad panels.
Jump into the giant water cannon and spray down Clayface until the former actor is all washed up.
The Batcave
Welcome to the Batcave! Let’s get started — ride the bat-shaped lift (in the foreground) and interact with the icon on the ground to activate Detective Mode. Investigate the costume rack to reveal a Robin Chute. Jump onto the bar with Robin to slide inside! Only Robin can use these chutes, so watch out for red-green-yellow vents.
Crawl up to the top and hit the switch to lower the red laser field. Swap to Batman and hop into the Batwing to attach the Cargo Winch onto the red dynamite. Deliver the dynamite to the icon near the Batcomputer. See the blue glow? That means it can be repaired! Use smarty-pants Robin to fix the dynamite.
That leaves behind a purple Master Build icon. Use it with Batman to begin construction of the Batcomputer set! This is for placing on your toypad, and it doesn’t actually do anything, so you can skip building or use the included manual in the box to build it whenever you want.
With the Batcomputer complete, the level proper will start!
