Nioh: All 6 Hiragumo Teakettle Fragments Locations | Trophy Guide

February 7, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Only on PS4: Claim the “Ressurector of Hiragumo” trophy with these hidden teakettle fragment locations. Spider-phobes might want to look away.

Earn the “Ressurector of Hiragumo” trophy in Nioh and a fancy teakettle with these collectible fragment locations.

There are only six fragments total, but when you’re dealing with a game as tough as Nioh, it helps to know where you’re going. The teakettle fragments are all found in the “Spider Nest Castle” main mission, where you’ll explore a fortress that’s been reclaimed by giant spider monsters, naturally. Get all six shiny fragments to own your very own piece of Hiragumo history with the guide below.

Taking inspiration from Dark Souls, Nioh is an incredibly tough action-RPG, pitting your hero against a menagerie of Japanese mythological monsters. You’ll fight through deadly locations and dodge traps, fighting for every inch of progress. We’re all about Dark Souls, and if you’re a fan, then Nioh should be right up your ally. This game is also huge — like, crazy huge. It’s hard to describe, but you’ll face so many bosses, we’re not even sure there’s any more mythology left to mine. Team Ninja, the developers of Nioh, picked those bones clean.

Hiragumo Teakettle Fragment Locations

There are 6 Hiragumo Teakettle Fragment locations — finding them all will unlock the “Ressurector of Hiragumo” bronze trophy. All the Teakettle Fragments are dropped by giant spiders that are summoned when you destroy the orange glowing spiderwebs found in the “Spider Nest Castle” main mission.

  • Fragment #1: From the start of the mission, climb the spiderweb ramps and destroy the orange glowing webs to the right at the top. These webs must be destroyed to progress.
  • Fragment #2: Follow the path up the hills and dodge the giant boulder to reach the next level of the castle. Once you leave the ramps, look over the ledge on the right. Below, there’s a hole missing in the building’s roof. Drop down and into the courtyard, then smash the spiderweb over the gate. Like the previous web, you’ll have to destroy this to progress.
  • Fragment #3: In the house after the Fragment #2 gate, go to the back-right room where an Oni suddenly appears. Take the “Key to the Castle Gates” here. Now leave the house through the single door side-gate and drop into the well to the left. In the second room of the spider-cave, you’ll find another glowing orange spiderweb location.
  • Fragment #4: After leaving the cave with the ladder past Fragment #3, continue up the into the arena where you’ll fight multiple ghostly (and colorful) enemies. After you defeat them, look up at the tower next to the entrance gate. There’s a glowing orange spiderweb up there. Shoot it with an arrow!
  • Fragment #5: Return to the locked Castle Gates door and use the key (found in the house right after Fragment #2) to access the Shrine. From here, go right and down the rocky cliffs to reach an area with a glowing spiderweb nearby.
  • Fragment #6: From the Shrine, continue up to the top level of the castle. There’s a building in the center of the upper-most courtyard, but ignore that. Look around the left corner, past the swarm of spider-eggs. The glowing spiderweb is in the back-left corner of this courtyard.
