Always replay stages on FREE PLAY to swap characters and access all areas of the level. There are 10 minikits and 1 Red Brick located in every story level. These levels can be replayed as often as you like, and no collectibles can be missed. Finding all ten minikits unlocks a new vehicle for purchase.

Minikit #1:

  • Location: Around the opening desert area there are three birds hanging out on LEGO rocks. They’re always in the background barriers and out of reach, above the ground — smash all three to get the first minikit in this stage.

Minikit #2:

  • Location: Shoot the glowing target at the conveyor belt to gain a bunch of hopping bricks. Ignore them for now and jump onto the moving conveyor itself. Jump over it and run on the track until it stops, forcing the second minikit to appear.

Minikit #3:

  • Location: On the right side of the first area, you’ll find an alien standing near a cage with your minikit inside. To get that minikit, use Force powers with Darth Vader or Luke or any force-sensitive hero and dig the little robots out of the sand, placing each on a cart near the alien merchant. Once you’ve placed three, the minikit will be all your’s.

Minikit #4:

  • Location: To the left of the third minikit you’ll find a large crate with glowing white cracks. Smash open the cracked LEGO wall with a large alien character. It’s just that easy.

Minikit #5:

  • Location: Later during the “Niima Bombardment” section, build the turret and chase the Imperial landing craft away by blasting the gold bricks. Blast the second set of gold bricks attached to the crane too — a crate will drop onto the ground with orange strength handles. Use Chewie to pull open the box and gain a minikit.

Minikit #6:

  • Location: Moving on, look for silver pipes attached to a water pump machine. Break the pipes with a bomb from Chewie and dive into the water pond with Admiral Ackbar.

Minikit #7:

  • Location: From the previous minikit, continue and you’ll gain control of a tiny remote control robot eventually that can dig piles of sand. These sandy spots are marked with tiny LEGO bricks. Dig up the sand pile on the far left to find this kit disassembled.

Minikit #8:

  • Location: Shoot the rusted catwalks during the first flight sequence. A number will appear when you get the right LEGO object. Destroy all four as you pass through the ruins for an automatic minikit.

Minikit #9:

  • Location: In the open flying sequence in the desert, look for rusty old crashed LEGO ships that look almost like big ovals. Destroy the piles of wreckage, all three, for one more minikit reward.

Minikit #10:

  • Location: While in the same flying arena, look for a large gantry structure with a pipe in the center near one corner of the map. Fly into the open pipe to spot this pretty well-hidden minikit.
