Chapter 8 Collectibles Locations – Journal Entries, Notes, Treasures & Conversations:

Treasure #16: Redware and Silver Jug – Just as the chapter starts, move forward and toward the large boulder on the hills below, slightly left of your position. Drop down and look behind the stone. There’s a glittering treasure in the snow beyond the rock.

Treasure #17: Bronze Boar – On the hills in the same area, head toward the seaside cliff to the right. Follow the ledge toward a rocky spire past the trees. There’s an optional cave there with the treasure hidden inside.

Treasure #18: Carved Wood Kashul – In the ruins you’ll run into trouble. Clear the enemies and then reach the cliff wall on your right. Follow it forward until you reach a dead-end ledge beyond a small grove of bushes and trees. Between this ledge and the bushes, you’ll find a treasure.

Treasure #19: Carved Nut Bottle – After pushing the yellow cart and climbing out, turn toward the cliff. Against the rock wall, right near the yellow cart puzzle exit, you can find a low cave entrance blocked by crates. Blow up or shoot the crates to get in the cave and grab this treasure.

Treasure #20: Traveling Inkwell with Seal – On the seaside ruins, you’ll slide down and then use a wooden pole to swing to a landing across. Instead of continuing onto the land on your left, drop onto the ruined ledge on the right. There’s a hidden alcove you can drop down to below with the treasure.

Treasure #21: Carved Ivory Vanitas – Once you finally reach the cathedral by sliding down the slope and using a rope to swing across the drop, use the handholds to the left of the ruin’s front entrance to climb up and into a room with a statue. The treasure is on the ground at the statue’s feet.

Journal Entry #1: In the cemetery, look for an open grave with two open coffins. It’s on the same side of the cemetery as the mausoleum near the entrance. Stand over the open graves to make a journal entry with Nate once the [Triangle] prompt appears.

Journal Note #1: Once completing your objective in the cemetery, a secret passage will open up in the ground. Take the stairs down into the catacomb and look in the corner of the first room you enter with coffins and skeletons interned in the walls.

Treasure #22: Scottish Ha’Penny – In the room with three crosses, look in an alcove to the left of the puzzle to grab a treasure. It’s located at the base of the statue.

Optional Conversation #6: Sam – In the same room, inspect the crucifix trio and an optional conversation will become available with Sam.

Journal Entry #2 / Optional Conversation #7: Sam – Solve the puzzle with the points of light and Sam will have another optional conversation prompt floating over his head as he stands near the constellation door.

Treasure #23: Slipjoin Clasp Knife – Leaving the catacombs, you’ll encounter mercenaries on the steep cliffs outside. In this area, stick to the left cliff and climb up to enter a narrow cave. Move along the wall on your left to reach a more open room with a pistol cache and a treasure in the back corner.

Treasure #24: Pewter Singing Bird Box – Return to the cave entrance from Treasure #23. This time, climb up to spot another cave in the distance. Jump across the gap and look on a barrel against the left wall.

Treasure #25: Tortoise Shell Snuff Box – Leaving the area with the mercenaries, Sam will help Nate climb up a dangerous cliff. Once you’re both on flat ground, hang from the same ledge (slightly left of where Sam pulled Nate up) to find hidden handholds. Climb down, left, and then right to reach an alcove with the treasure.

Treasure #26: Persian Tailoring Scissors – Moving on, you’ll reach a platforming challenge involving wooden beams. Jumping across to a wooden platform, the platform will buckle and crack as you grab the side. Take the stairs up, and then look under the platform with the second set of stairs attached to get this chapter’s final treasure.
