Five Amazing 8-Bit Demakes
Let's clear one thing up right away. YouTuber MajamiHiroz's animations really aren't 8-bit in the strictest sense of the word. In fact, they usually have a distinctly modern edge, mixing retro sprites with beautifully rendered 3D environments and flashy post processing effects.
But if he's a bit anachronistic when it comes to the 8-bit angle, he more than makes up for it by staying absurdly true to the spirit of the game's he's demaking. The visuals, writing and music are all pitch perfect, and he manages to find voice actors that are borderline indistinguishable from the real thing.
So far, he's taken on high profile titles like Arkham City, Red Dead Redemption, and Max Payne, and pulled them off in spectacular fashion.
